Welcome to Velvetkist Persians. We are a small cattery located in Maryland that specializes in bicolor persians. Velvetkist is a registered cattery with the Cat Fanciers Association. All of our cats and kittens are hand raised and cared for in a loving environment. Velvetkist is a DNA PKD negative tested cattery and all kittens are vet inspected and vaccinated. We have kittens available from time to time to loving, qualified homes. Show kittens are also available to show homes only. Please feel free to email me.

This is me with my first show cat, Louise. I bought Louise many years ago as a new person in the cat fancy and was unaware of PKD at that time. Louise died in 2006 of PKD. With the new technology of identifying this disease by DNA testing, ALL my cats have been tested in 2006 NEGATIVE via DNA testing at UC Davis. Every cat I breed and kitten I sell is guaranteed PKD negative.
I will miss you greatly Louise...my pillow buddy.
